CORVID-19 AND AMENITIES CLOSURE

Due to the recent actions taken by the County Judge, Lina Hidalgo, and the City of Houston Mayor, Sylvester Turner, along with continued recommendations from the CDC, State and Federal agencies, the Berkshire Board of Directors is closing all facilities down in the community.  This includes the park area, tennis courts, playground, volleyball court and pool area until further notice.  These amenities encourage congregations of multiple residents at a time which is exactly what the social distancing recommendations are warning against.

Any surfaces that can be touched by multiple homeowners increases the spread of the virus.  Therefore we are requesting all homeowners cease using these amenities until further notice.  We are also cancelling all events for this community to include garage sales and Easter events.  This will allow for each homeowner to properly distance themselves from others and not create an environment that could potentially increase the spread of Covid-19.

We encourage everyone to abide by the recommendations of the City, State, and Federal agencies to STAY HOME, STAY SAFE.  We understand this is a difficult time for everyone but if we work together in this community, along with surrounding communities which are doing the same thing, we can fight this virus and prevent it from causing additional harm to this country.  We want everyone to remain home in their houses and only venture out to get gas, groceries or other essential items to honor the recommendations of the agencies looking out for our wellbeing.  We can only fight this if we work together.  There is a hashtag that is trending in the country, #AloneTogether!  We can eliminate the spread if we all work together.
